force feedback?

ive been thinking about getting a racing wheel and i was wondering if the force feedback really makes that much of a difference. i could wait till i get $80 and get a force feedback or i could use the $20 i have now and get a regular wheel. what should i do?

I think you should get a decient wheel, I'm not sure if the $20 wheels are even worth it. All the cheap ones I've seen look and feel like ****. Force feedback or not.

IMO, force feedback helps to judge the amount of steering you do in the corners better than without. I really like it on the rumble strips too.

I bought a cheapo $30 wheel and ended up returning it for the Logitech. Not only was the force feedback better but the pedals were much more accurate. I could tell on the replays with the cheap one it was not smooth when i hit the gas or brake. In my opinion the extra money was more then worth it.

If you opt for the cheap one make sure its at a place with a good return/exchange policy
