RIP V8s and RWD.

Holden have given it their all with the vf to keep the commodore alive. We will just have to wait and see if people will buy them and if they have a government that will support them

If even the government of Australia won't support it, we all might as well give up now.
You're right. Since 2007 they kept making cars which nobody wanted. Ford have practically killed the Falcon, for the last few years they were digging a bigger hole for the Falcon's coffin. They received government funding like Holden but and the Falcon has brought Ford debts of $600 million.

Holden have received $2.2 billion over the last 10 years, I don't now if Ford got that as well but Holden have made better use of it but the Commodore won't be killed off, it'll just receive a four cylinder. But why is the Falcon dying at a faster rate than the Commodore?

Well ever since the AU the falcon went backwards

Holden spent $1 billion on the VE and when it was first released everyone wanted one. When the FG came out no where near as many were interested. Thats why Holden still afloat (just)
