Here's the setup I used to get a silver in S7 Fuji:
Power (HP) 465 : -22
Weight (kg) 1165 : 100
Tires : F R1 R R1
Aero : 13 29
Ride Height (mm) : -15 -15
Spring : 6 8
Damper: 6 7
Toe: -0.10 -0.10
Camber: 2.4 1.4
Brake: 7 6
Max Turn: 38
Trac: 2
ABS: 4
Gears:
1st - 2.829
2nd - 1.974
3rd - 1.397
4th - 1.045
5th - 0.820
6th - 0.650
Final - 4.825
Automatic transmission, Active Steering Strong, Standard physics, ASM off.
This setup may be totally out to lunch, and more experienced tuners may say "how the heck did you win a race tuned like THAT?"
I arrived at this by reading other people's setups, then tinkering. It took me a long time to even get to the end of the race in the top 5, but then out of the blue, I came in second. I had to do a lot of defensive driving (blocking) on the straightaway! I hit the brakes as late as I dared, and slid around the other cars in the tight corners, being careful not to jostle them too hard and draw a penalty. I think I did have a couple, but they were in tight spots where you couldn't go faster than 30 mph anyway, so I lucked out there.
Good luck, and let me know if this works for anyone else.
I'm off to try this out at Suzuka S-10 so I can finally buy that hideously expensive Ferrari.
