In 2006, DHG Racing announced the entry in GT300 class with Ford GT. They replaced its alminium frame and engine with an original tubular space frame and DHG's own V8, and started the season. The result was poor, but with performance assist they took 3rd once.

After a year, they used the same car for 2007 season. But in the first race, it crashed into a wall and broke the rear section. After that, they started improving the car with a better aerodynamics. With all the improvement, the result was worse than the last season. The manager said they had to make use of the experience for the next season. Sadly, they did not come back, and the car itself is currently abandoned in a bicycle shop in Saitama.

This was a very interesting car to compete in the Super GT GT300, I like it!

Having seen this, it would be nice to see a Gr.4 variant of the Ford GT

the rear looks like Nikki's FGT rear bodywork in NFS Carbon
