The Interceptor concept debuted in 2007, and although it unfortunately didn't make it to the production stage, some of its design cues made it onto the most recent generation of Taurus. It is powered by a 600 horsepower ethanol-fuelled V8 Cammer race engine of 5.0 litres. Its performance is unconfirmed, but doubtless rapid, and I would love to see this strikingly handsome saloon make its virtual debut on GranTurismo...

The car looks like a futuristic Chrysler 300 and I have never seen a car where the head rests are from the ceiling. Seems like it would have been a safety flaw for the police officer as the criminal in the back would've probably had a knife (it's possible) without the cop knowing and stab the cop through the gap between the head rest and seat. Also, the Interceptor Concept appeared in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit in 2010 but as a different version of the car but was still a concept.

One of the most bizarre things I've ever read.
