Yeah, It is a good suggestion, but for my vote you must choose one engine and one gearbox of them you have as alternative in the OP. Sorry if I sounds rude , it's not my meaning :)
 
Right from the dark period in America's muscle car history. I honestly don't get why so many of these early 70s to early 80s muscle cars are being suggested. After they were allowed to have big power outputs, and before they were sufficiently developed enough to have good handling.
