Many people said there would be a concept car called the Ford Mondeno in GT:C.

the closest in GT is the tickford falcon XR8 which is an aussie mondeo

Ahhh

The Tickford Falcon XR8 is based on the Ford Falcon XR8.
The Ford Mondeo is called the Ford Mondeo in AUS.

Two different cars.

Right, the Mondeo is certainly separate from the XR8.

That said, the Mondeo ST200 was never supposed to be in GTC in the first place. IGN posted a news story that said it was in the game. This is yet another case of IGN pulling facts and figures straight out of their collective -- yeah.

I have a motto... NEVER trust IGN when it comes to racing games. They might be good at other genres, but the people know nothing at all about cars... they really should hire an automotive consultant.

Way back in the GT2 days, I remember they'd steal our info at the GTF :/

Then they finally started asking when GT3 came around and we had exclusive F1 footage -- but they berated us on their site and insinuated it was likely faked.

Jaz Rignall was always the nicest person though... so intelligent, too! He actually *knew* what he was talking about, and would always ask politely if he needed some information or content at IGN...
