This set-up is for the Ford Mustang SVT Cobra. It's fully modified with the best parts, including the rollcage, without nitrous or supercharger, and uses Sports Medium tires. It also gave 1'14.445 on Midfield.

just wondering, why do you always test the cars at that track? and if possible could you test them out for the 400m, cuz i was trying to make my SVT do like 8sec if possible.

SVT Cobra - Used car lot II. Just wait for it, comes out every two months or so.

Cobras can't do 8 seconds. In GT4, you need at least 900-1000 hp to get 8's in an FR.

That, my friend, is because midfield is a rockin track. it has pretty much one of every major corner type and is plenty of fun. ever since the 'minute-madness' in the GT2 days i have loved the place.

Oh and testing settings isn't about testing over 400m. the setups he posts (i assume because i have never tried one) are for race tracks, not for the 400. drag settings will be entirely different.

im guessing that the "minute madness" is trying to get a car that can do it in less than a minute? doesnt seem that hard

its been getting easier since gt2. in gt2 the course was longer, and the quickest car was the Toyota GT1 (untuneable HP back then) or the GT1 road car (less downforce but more HP). I think about 55s was the best i ever got. These days i can get an F1 down to something like 51secs (i'll have to check when i get home) but yes plenty of cars can get under now. back in gt2 there weren't that many cars quick enough.

Dude, you hit the nail on the head. You said what I was going to say.

And to reassure you, I make set-ups for racing, not 400m.

Not bad at all, but I found it to understeer too much for my own liking. It all depends on your style and preference though. Here's my Mustang Cobra set-up - lift-off oversteer; understeers on corner exit if pushed hard. Makes for smooth, well balanced driving I think. Anyway - see how it works for you.

S2 tyres, has run on S1s without too much of a change in handling. NA Stage 1 + racing chip; 407bhp (no oil change from purchase); no rollcage, no brake upgrades, all drivetrain and suspension upgrades . Could handle around 500bhp without problems. Thanks to Duck 7892 for template.
