Ford UK v USA

Hi i am just curious if i have it wrong but i thought the RS2000 (RS 2000 Rally car also) and Focus Rally Car '99 were from the UK . I like to race in the Extreme .. European Championships .. In there you compete against the RS2000 ..
So I bought one from the UCD only to find it say's it is from the USA .. Is this a PD glitch or is it manufactured in the USA not the UK ? The RS2000 (Rally car also) Ford Rally car '99 are 3 cars i cannot use in the European races is this the same for everyone ?
 
Well Ford is an American manufacturer so naturally its American made. To answer your question, yes you cant use it in a European make race
 
You can include the GT40 in the list of UK cars, the Focus ST is German and so to is apparently the old Mini :)
 
No although they are designed and made by Ford Europe not America they seem to think it a good idea to make Ford a single continent maker. Prob makes it easier for them or just yet another of many oversights in the game.
 
Yet, it knows the Falcon is Ford (AU) :confused:

as a huge classic mini fan this annoyed me quite alot.Sad i Know....
 
Thank you for the replies .. It is a shame then that cars produced by a companies subsidiary company cannot be classed as from the subsidiaries company country. e.g.Ford USA/UK or well just another little PD quirk i guess.
