So I'm trying to do the FGT Event, and I don't think I'm ready for it. Abs 1 tcs 3 all others off. On fuji I was doing practise laps and the best time I could get was 1'18 which is terrible, I've heard people getting 1'12s.

At the moment I am driving pretty standard, braking quite late straight and then as I come off the brakes turning in late with trail-braking, and then I coast through the corner with absolutely no throttle input, and when I clip the apex I begin to straighten the steering and build up on the throttle again.

I just can't see where people are making up so much time on their laps, I have just had an oil change so I'm running at 936 BHP but If I push my car any more by trying to get on the throttle earlier I just spin out and lose it most of the time.

What tips can you guys give me? I really want to get this drain of an event out of the way, and if anyone can offer me a better tune than the one I gave I would be very thankful.

I just ran 3 consecutive laps under 1.12 on Trial Mountain with my best lap of 1.11.485

Here is my setup:
Downforce: F 70 R 90
Transmission: 230 mph
LSD: Initial torque 15 Acceleration sensitivity 40 Braking sensitivity 30
Suspension ride height: F -5, R -5
Springs: F 18.5 R 18.5
Extension: F 8 R 8
Compression: F 6 R 6
Anti-Roll Bars: F 7 R 7
Camber: F +2.0 R +1.0
Toe: F 0.00 R 0.20

Racing Medium Tires
TCS 1
ABS 2

Urgh I feel embarrassed... I changed to Jordays tune,

downforce max/max
diff 15/20/15
ride height -5/0
spring rate 16.4/17.5
damper ext 6/8
damper comp 5/7
anti roll 5/7
camber -2.5/-1.5
toe -0.25/-0.15
trans 249
brakes 4/1

But the best I could run with ABS 1 TCS 5 and SRF on was a low 1'15. Will I drive faster with SRF off and TCS lower? I normally have no assists par abs one but this car just seems to puzzle me...

Hey guys I'm new to the forums here so bare with me...
My setup:
Downforce:MAX
Transmission:(depending on track obviously)ex:242mph on monza
LSD:IT/15; Acc/45; Dec/60
Suspension:
Camber:Fr/1.5; Rear/.5
Toe:Fr/-.06 Rear/-.03
Ride Height:-10/-10
Spring rate: Fr/16.1; Rear/ 18.0
Dampers(ext):9/9
Dampers(comp):8/8
Roll-bars:3/3
Brake balence:(not for endurance races obviously)Fr/10; Rear/9

Also, TCS-5, ABS-1, SR-on and all other assists off.

The way I drive is kinda the same way brake early into corners, caost at highest speed possible and tap gas through the apex of the corner(no steering wheel for me). This seems to work well for me.

Here are a coule of changes looked at other tunes and experimented a bit and i think this is best set up for my style of driving

I've only just recently got my FGT but i think i'm getting to terms with it pretty quick. Anyway i used it standard first and then changed to these settings and gained a HUGE amount of time (3 seconds at Monza) and find it pretty stable aswell (using ABS 1, everything else off & using DS3 so definately has more grip 👍)

Little tip try going into most corners a gear higher than normal but brake early so that the car is settled and coast through the corner, more often than not the engine braking and drag will drop a gear mid corner and the back end will twitch once it's done that you can ease back onto the throttle. (Note: if it doesn't drop a gear just coming out of the corner with lower revs should help you grip better when you put the power back on)

Hope it helps.
