Formula Gran Turismo ??

Anyone bought the formula gran turismo? I've been searching for a good car to use in most races. Mainly I've been trying to beat the all stars championship (I think that's what its called, In the expert series) Couldn't do it with a 907 HP Pagani Zonda R. Tried it with the mazda Furai concept, still couldn't do it. I've been smashing the Extreme series, so i dunno. No skill, maybe. I just seem to get smashed soon as i get near the straights.

So back to my question, is the formula gran turismo worth the 4.9Mill?

Also have access to the Suzuki Escuda dirt trial car. If anyone wants that let us know. It looks so bad... I quite literally laughed when came up behind one in the Like the Wind series.

It is worth it. If youre looking for an easy way to beat most races, thats the way to go. On top of that, it is really, really fun to drive.
 
You can buy the Formula Gran Turismo from the online dealership. It's always there.
It smokes all the events it can play. Definitely worth for the extreme series and expert.

Cheers buddy. Just got to find 145 000 xp. And yea to the bloke that suggested the X1. Really it is an awesome idea. But no... I want to complete expert series some time this year

No doubt. Yet I'm level 23 at the moment. And I believe you have to be like lvl 30 to get that? Gonna take some time. I'd prefer not to spend 4.9m on the FGT, but I'm getting smashed in that championship series, and it's starting to piss me off.

Don't suppose anyone knows a good car to use in the classic series too? Was gonna use a 66 cobra, but it handles like my mazda ute i got sittin in the garage...

easy way to beat MOST races??? What doesn't the FGT beat easily in GT5 as far as the structured events go?
 
I'm feeling good about this. I really, REALLY want that FGT now, anyone got some helpful hints on the best way to gain some quick experience?
 
Just buy it, you need it anyway to beat the Formula series races

He didn't call you any names, did he? I think he just meant that the X1 will take him quite some time to acquire and that he was talking about buying the FGT now...

Keep an eye open in "Seasonal Events".
I just completed an event, now closed. Under "Bonus races" that netted me a ton of cash.
More importantly, by doing all the races I was able to jump from low level 23 to mid level 25 in about an hour.

As for the FGT, get it. You need it for the FGT Championship anyway, and having it makes the game much easier.
 
Maybe you should practice your driving techniques as you should be able to win that event with the Zonda R as that is what I won it with, either that or a Toyota GT One / Peugeot 908 HDI will win it aswell (if you can handle those, which, if you can't handle a Zonda R, I doubt you could handle those, easy way out with an FGT anyone?)
 
all i can say is yes it worth. buy the FGT, in my opinion it's second fastest car on GT5 , the fastest one is of course X2010 :D
 
i agree with buying the FGT, but be careful, when u get it, take it straight to the garage and check the oil, mine was filthy and needed changing quick, and to be doubly sure i had the engine overhauled, dont forget, ur not buying brand new straight outta the box, it is second hand.
