I tried to beat the Formula GT championship with my F/090S now at (711hp) and I couldn't. I bearly won the first 4 races due to extremly long periods of time without piting. After the first 4 races as they now became more difficult, my oil light draining my power and the cars getting faster, I could not win anything. Finally sucking it up and backing out, I have been doing every endurance and professional race to get a better F1 car. As of now, I only have a couple chances left but I have come up empty handed. Is it possible to beat the GT championship with my well used F/090S? If so what are some tips or set ups that work well?
Thank you

The F1 championship is a tough one in the F090/s. My suggestion would be to run the PD cup and take the F094/s as you quit out of the last race. You'll have a much more enjoyable and easier time in the F1 races.

And i think you should put medium tyres on. These provide the best grip to life ratio.

You can win the series in the F090, but maybe not every race. The only other car that is any better is the F094, like DA said. I found it to be too easy to win that way, no challenge at all. The F090 lacks in speed but conserves tires and handles great. The other F1s are faster, but eat up tires and don't handle as well... except the F094. It's the perfect F1.

Are you even able to change tires on the F1s?

sorry milefile, my mistake:O

Try these settings.

Springs: 15/17.5
Height: 45/45
Bound: 5/9
Rebound: 9/5
Camber: 5/2
Toe: +.5/0
Brakes: 24/20
Downforce 1.00/1.50
ASM: off
TCS: 2

Now for the gearing. Have you heard of the "tranny trick"?

Start off with default settings. Move the "Final" slider all the way to the right. Now move the "Auto setting" slider all the way to the left.
Now set the individual gear sliders so the ratio's are:

1st: 4.224
2nd: 3.020
3rd: 2.290
4th: 1.924
5th: 1.613
6th: 1.386

Now move the "Final" slider to 3.700
Adjust the final ratio to get the top end you want for each track.

BTW, I set my LSD at all 5's. (as low as it goes)

Hope this helps. Let us know.

I won the series with the F090/S, but it wasn't easy. I forfeited the Test Course race, and plan on running it with the Escudo.

One day, after I've claimed 100%, I'm going to win it with the unloved F688/S, because I like it more than the F090/S and the F094/S that I've won.

Thanks alot guys, I will try my luck a few more times to aquire the F094 before heading back to this championship. I will test out a few laps with the new set up (thanks kodiak) and see if my chances are greater.

If ya want some more setup's, send me a PM and I'll give ya a hand, 50's@ Midfield, 1:19's @ GV, 1:09's@Cote are just a few of the highlights, there are other guys out there are faster but I find these set's aint bad
