B. Qualifying Rules
B1. Qualifying will be done in Arace Mode > Time Trial
B2. Any breach of basic rules in a qualifying lap must make that lap obsolete
B3. Use default HP. Use given weight in qualifying thread.
B4. Qualifying is very important in Formula GT. You must send in a qualifying time to take the grid for the race. You must aslo be within 105% of the pole winning time in order to take the grid for the race. Drivers will be given one 'provisional' at the start of the season. This provisional can be used to start a race randomly at the back of the field if you did not turn in a qualifying time. It can also be used to start a race if you qualified outside the 105% range.
Example: If the pole winning time is 1'20.000, you must qualify within 5% of that time, which is 1'24.000, or 4 seconds, in order to make the field.
B5. You must send in your split times
B6. .2 of a second will be added to the total time of every positon behind pole. .2 to 2nd, .4 to 3rd, .6 to 4th and so on.
C. Race Rules
C1. The race will be done in Aracde mode > Single Race
C2. The number of laps, AI difficulty, penalty for contact, tire compound (mild or strong tire wear) and other information will be given in the race thread. This is done to prevent drivers from racing the next round before it is time to gain an advantage.
