Formula GT or Ferrari F1

I have around 5M in Credits now and am wondering if i should buy the Formula GT (F1 car) that is in the online dealer or if i should continue and buy a Ferrari F1.

Can i enter the Formula GT Championship with the Ferrari?
I assume there is no easy race/money to win with the Formula GT, and i would have to go back to Indy Racing with my corvette ZR1 ?
 
Ferrari F1's cannot do the FGT Championship. But they do have their own restriction thing online! :dopey:

So get the FGT.
 
FGT, you can actually use it in races online and in single player mode. The Ferrari's you can't.
 
Thanks for the reply. Is it worth getting the Formula GT or do you eventually win it?

I dont need a car for the Dream Car races as i think the Minolta should do it, or am i wrong?

You don't win an FGT in any events from what I'm aware of.

Any Group C or LMP racer can win the Dream Car Championship. Just be aware of that stupid XJR-9 that will for the most part do a good job at beating everything else. Also try and aim for at least one rainy race - the AI always pit on the first lap of a rainy race for wets because they "forget" to put them on. Use Intermediates for any wet races.

Thanks. I can buy the Fgt then as i dont really need anything else after that and dont fancy any other car at the moment, at least nothing super expensive.
 
No you don't ever win the FGT. Plus the FGT is faster than the Ferrari's. More HP and higher speed. I have a FGT(935HP) and F2010(has a little over 700HP). Don't forget to do the oil change for FGT either.
