1.) I was wondering why the FGT isn't a premium car. I mean the design is original, as well as the name, color and specs. Is there some reason why it isn't a premium??
2.) In a recent update, not sure which one, PD claimed to fix a bug in which the G27 racing wheel would shake back and forth at high speeds. After the update was installed I still had this problem, except it was only for the X2011 and X2012. Before the update, the wheel shook for any car at around 170 MPH. But now it only shakes for those specific cars. Is there some way I can fix this or should I report it??

1. Because FGT can't be buy in Dealership only at GT4 you can buy it at Dealership

Answer #2- Unfortunately I haven't seen the claim by PD were the wheel issue has been fixed? I usually only run my X1 on technical course so the shaking doesn't give me much issue, but if you are having this issue at Daytona or Indy or route X just simply set your toe and camber to 0, that should help! * maybe even like +0.10 toe front and rear.

If you need help with the FGT setup I have a REALLY NICE tune for mine! I can help you out or post the tune when I get home if you want!?

Answer #1- And also the "premium" cars are modeled after "Real" cars.. You might argue the X1 but they did build a full size model to model the one in game off of.. Though there is no "Real" Formula Gran Turismo.. I guess if someone made a full size model maybe they would turn it premium?

Sorry to say this but that's crap. And use the edit function instead of double posting please.

Premium cars were mostly made from scratch for GT5 while the older cars (most of them) were upgraded GT4 cars. They enhanced their looks more and more with some of the past updates, but because of limited time and working capacities, PD couldn't make a Premium car out of every GT4 car. They even added a full cockpit view to the Formula GT, but making the same car in Premium quality would take a lot more time and PD seems to have different priorities at the moment, developing the new GT title for example.

Where did you get this information from? I read somewhere that they spent 1000 hours "approximately" on each car that is premium.. You have obviously read something different. I don't want to argue but I cannot find "official" statement saying either, whether from Kaz or PD?

You can just post it, that would be nice!!

I don't remember which update, but there was a mention of adjusting the FFB in one of them. I think it was supposed to be mainly in regards to the formula cars, and it did seem that I had less shaking in the FGT than before that update. But it pretty much went away anyway if I ran with 900 degree steering, which seems to work fine with most every car except the F10 for some reason. I do get shaking on a number of cars if I lower the steering range significantly, but I usually just use 900 in GT5 now that I'm used to it.

Not sure what if anything can be done to help with the X cars. I actually drove the X2011 with my wheel a while yesterday and noticed no problem, but it's not a G27. Adding a little deadzone would probably fix the shaking but sadly GT5 doesn't have proper wheel adjustments and for some reason it is not yet standard for all decent wheels to have on-board adjustments like that. That NEEDS to become standard practice.

Sudden flashback now to the endless harsh shaking from playing GT4 with my old 200 degree wheel. Wow that was annoying... and painful. Driving any car above 70mph in that game was torture.
