Bookkeepers say that this has to be one of the most intriguing positions of the season. If amemyarz wins, he will be boosted up to 44 points, with no chance for an extra as he had missed qualifying. Even if RACECAR finishes last in a 4-car field, he can still gain 5 points and win the title. However, if Bri-Y submits a time, then RACECAR must finish 4th or higher to guarantee a repeat championship. So, amemyarz cannot prevent RACECAR from taking a second title, but his teammate, put into an interesting ordeal, could certainly play spoiler to prevent the defending holder from so doing. RACECAR would have to retire from the race (impossible for the fact that he is a steward) for superberkut to overtake him in the points race, but the Canadian's runs in the final round have been weak, and amemyarz would have to retire as well and a first place must be in the cards for the Mobius F1 driver if he is to take a title this late in the season. Nobody else is in position otherwise to upset RACECAR's chances...
