Hi all

Few days ago I'm sat here with 2mil in the bank and a formula GT shows up in used for 4.9mil (need this car for 2nd last event in extreme) :((((
Not deterred I ground out 5 mil and continually did NASCAR to refresh the used cars (30 used cars 6 new per race 5 races 30 new cars).
NASCAR quite profitable, racing softs, full downforce on wings, win 4 races 45,500 a pop quit last race 228k bonus, sorted.
After many many reruns still no formula GT :((( I'm even tempted to buy the F1 2010 for 10mil from Ferrari but since formula GT reward is a red bull seems a waste.
Now I just start NASCAR quit all 5 races and check the refreshed used cars.

I've been lurking these forums for awhile now and figure this may help somebody with their quest, seems like fastest way to get that dam formula GT to show up.

A few things you need to know..
You cannot use the Ferrari F1 cars in the Formula GT
Also the prize car for Formula GT is not a Red Bull car.
Its a Catheram
 
Thanks mate, too late for me tho...after refreshing the used cars 20 or so times I bought the F1, there should be a big red sticker saying warning can't use in a-spec :-(
On a plus note loving the F1 in time trials, sure it'll come in handy.
A caterham? Sure I read a prize list somewhere saying a redbull F1 car, got a few Caterham's, my fave real life car, shame it's not the r500.

Thanks again 4 the warning, nearly back to 5 mil and keeping ma nose outta used cars till then ;-)
 
The series tells you the requirements for the race. If you check them then you know you can't use the Ferraris.
 
Aye seph oversight on my part just assumed formula would mean any formula type car. No biggy only game credits and I do so love the F1 :-D
Only event I have left bar endurance is the formula GT, now just hope I can pick up a formula GT before my days off, I read somewhere it takes 3-4 hours to complete.

There are a bunch of us working on Used Car cycles right now. I'm afraid they're not quite as simple as earlier games and unless you took a careful note of your day 1 used car list it will be difficult to assist you, but we might be able to help when we're done.
 
Blimey famine I just assumed it was random with differing percent chances for different cars or level dependant since the formula GT I saw appeared when I could use it.
No idea what my first used lot contained, took no notice, went looking for a '00 MX5 sport limited in twilight blue ;-)
