Check the tune database. @DaBomm4 has a very popular set up there might work.
Otherwise over gear the car. Basically use looooong gears to keep wheel spin down.
Try this.
Set final far left.
Set top speed to max
Set 1-3 far left
Balance 4-6 to a nice curve with 7th being far right. Then move the final right to reduce top speed until you get wheel spin then move it left 0.050 until the wheel spin stops.

What is this magic you speak of? I have only driven the formula GT in GT5.

Right I only glanced at the author saw Dabom and stopped reading lol. I assumed and we all know what that means

This was from game version 1.11 and I have not driven the car in a while. A couple of tricks with this car is to max flip the transmission which makes for a taller second and third gears, helping to reduce wheel spin. The other key to this car is to get the LSD settings as spot on as possible.
