I heard during the Brazilian GP last weekend that Mclaren is going back to honda motors. It was said by Bob Varsha on the F1 debrief show. Yeah the Hondas were the best motors In the late
1980's early 1990's with Ayrton Senna, and Alain Prost winning about every race if the season. Then a dew years ago Honda made their own team.they were terrible. Considering the cars AND the engines were bad. Mercedes has been the engine supplier for Mclaren since 1995. Is this a smart move by Mclaren? Do you guys think Honda can build a good engine?

Honda can make very good engines, and their high rev engines are some of the best in the car world.

Don't forget F1 is not just about the engine, look at RBR they have a good aero package and a Renault engine and they beat Renault.

Honda may have had a bad aero package back in the 90's when they were in F1.

I was at the McLaren press conference in Brazil and confirm there is no news on this.

Please use the thread Ardius linked to in order to discuss this further.
