okay guys, im a pretty darn good driver, but i cant seem to get my F1 times down to below par.

my best Midfield time is a 52.8xx i have been told this is pathetic.

so whats goin on here?...im takin the car to its absolute limits why isnt it performing?

please post any settings and hints you may have concerning F1's

i'll try out midfield, what i want are settings for the polyphony 001 for laguna seca. i have done hundreds (maybe even thousands) of laps of laguna in all sorts of cars and i consider myself a good driver. i am driving a totally stock 001 that is past its peak period so its on 813hp after an oil change and my top time is 1:02:939 at the mo. with some serious effort i could possibly push it down to 1:00:xxx but people are getting 55-57 and there is no way you can do that without better settings so could someone please enlighten me too?

hey guys forgive me if this is like a n00b question but, is it possible to go faster with manual rather than auto?

i really dont like using manual unless i get the GT steering wheel

most of the fastes drivers use manual - most that is because theres still some fast times with auto

I use auto for the F1 series on here - I just prefer it to manual. Its whatever you feel best using I suppose
