👍👍👍 Discovered another form of racing that I like personally! Formula Racing! Had set it up because one of our members likes it, yes we cater to individual members. It was a very thrilling experience! Incredible grip because of the massive downforce. They are very fast! We used 900HP. The sounds! Amazing screaming engines! When you get into a one-on-one battle for position, just blown away by the back and forth! The replays spectacular!

The car itself takes getting used to, particularly setting it up the right way. Started with TCS 10, but on the turns you could literally feel the engine die. Totally unresponsive immediately to the throttle. Changed it to TCS 1. Also set ABS to 2 with a balance of 9/9. And lowered the car to -4 on both ends. Took 2nd overall. Blown away by Soopaman, who easily won by 2 minutes. So the battle was for 2nd.

Also discovered the car handles extremely well and for the first time enjoyed racing on Fuji F. That track was definitely made for the F1s.

If you haven't raced the Formula cars you definitely need to give it more than just a cursory try. Amazing cars! Great racing!

I live for open wheel racing, I really wish there were cars to fill the void between the go kart and the 3 formula cars! Which were you using in your race, a mixture of the 3? I have the Formula Gran turismo and the Ferrari F10, much prefer the Ferrari F10!

Someone also suggested using the power limiter and removing the downforce to simulate something closer to F3 performance and I may have to give this a go sometime.

If you like the F1's, you should give Monaco (pardon Cote Azur) a try. Quite challenging to find a good position for clean overtake maneuvers.

E.g 15 to 20 laps which makes you want to change tyres once . So pit strategie might become important.

We were all using the FGT. May try a mixture next time. We ran on 20 laps on Daytona Road, 22 laps on Corte and 22 on Fuji F. We spend about an hour and a half racing each time!

If you have the money, try the Ferrari's. You get a lot more feel from the car, and there is more grip available as well. As they are premium, you get the cockpit views as well. I usually don't use cockpit view, but have been when driving my F10!

me and my friend always race Ferrari F10's online all the time. We race mainnly at

Monza, Suzuka, Monaco, Nurburgring GP/F etc for that authentic F1 feel. I wish GT5 had Spa available to race on then it would be even better. DLC? lol! no chance...

Anyone ever fancy doing some formula racing online add me, im on quite a bit.
