Hi guys, I have had a forum for quite some time now, but the traffic is incredibly slow at the moment. I would appreciate it if you could take a look and let me know what you think of it and how you think I might be able to improve it.

Thanks

P.S. You could even sign up if you like!! ;)

That´s advertising.

BAN THE BASTARD!!!

:D Just kidding. Well let´s see, there´s a PS2 section, a football (hope it´s not american) section, a good layout... I think I´ll sign up. 👍

Edit: But shouldn´t this thread be in another forum section, like The Rumble Strip?

I would suggest getting a .com address and your own web space. Your current URL (activeboard.com/forum.cgi=blah blah blah) is hard to remember and confusing. I would also include more content. For example: a weblog or picture gallery. Most forum only websites fail.

Yeah wut Viper said, and also might want to tagret who you want your site is going to be for. When you try to target everyone, it just gets to confuseing. And your become lost.

FatAssBR, your account has been activated. I was thinking about putting this in the rumble strip but I thought it would look like I am trying to advertise it too blatantly. I really do want to get the traffic up though so tell all your friends!!!

Fix your images, you have a whole bunch of red X's going down the left side of every sub-forum on the main forum page.
Nope, your computer is just not loading them. It´s all normal here.

It's very hard to get forums traffic in the early days.

Make sure you're properly listed in Google and MSN, by ensuring that your META tags are set up correctly.

And I would say that your grey mass colouring is a little overwhelming. There's little differentiation in the page, and thus little to help "steer" the viewer's eye.

As its a free activeboard forum, i dont think its possible to put meta tags in. If it was possible, how would i go about it?

*edit* colour scheme changed. What do you think now?
