I just downloaded the new Canary build of google chrome and thought I'd give you guys a heads up about the red headers on the main forum page. I don't know if it's an issue with the ads that would normally be there if I wasn't premium, but it looks fine in the current Chrome. Don't know if it'll take on the way it looks with Canary when it becomes the new stable release.

The displaced "last post" frames tend to be a random occurence. I don't know if the problem is with this build of the browser or if it's something GTP can remedy.

Chrome is no longer the best. Opera is the new Usian Bolt and the best. It even has a built im MP3 player and apps.

I'm able to duplicate the issue (intermittently) in Canary. I agree the content looks like it's getting pushed over to make room for the sidebar, but at the moment I don't know what it could be other than a rendering error. Thanks for the early heads-up, though, and please let me know if you continue to see it in newer builds.

Seems to be fixed now. Did you change anything?

Nope. I noticed the issue was intermittent for me - are you sure it's gone?

Yeah, it's gone. Perhaps they fixed something with a new build... one that I didn't notice was installed. They say they update it every two weeks or so, so maybe it does it in the background automatically. Shrug.

Yep, Chrome updates silently in the background. A handy way to ensure less savvy users don't stick with ancient versions in the future. 👍 Clearly, it's a web browser created by a company full of web designers and developers who have dealt with the joys of IE6, IE7, etc... :D
