@MadaraxUchiha, I was browsing the Exclusive Car Registry yesterday, and I found some interesting colors to replicate. By the way, that is a great source for unique colors. Anyway, one of the colors I found was Ferrari's Grigio Ferro. I know that you did the color just before the new year. I put your version on a car, just to check how it looked. I have found images that are close to the version you made, but personally, I do not believe they properly show the color. I do not want to start a fight or anything, but I believe I have produced a better, more accurate version of Grigio Ferro that is based on better reference images.

Let's look at those reference images. Here is the original one I took from ECR:

Grigio Ferro (Ferrari).JPG

And here is another that I found while honing my version of the color.

Grigio Ferro 2.jpg

Notice how both have the slightest hint of green/blue in them. Personally, I believe that is how the color should look. I will admit, both cars are pictured indoors, which does alter the look of the paint.

Here are a couple image that look most like your version:

You don't have to listen to what I'm saying, and if you think your version is more accurate and should remain in the spreadsheet, then I will respect that. If that is the case, I'll just keep my version on my own private spreadsheet and leave yours alone. I know you and I have had our disagreements when it comes to things like this, and I am hoping to prevent that now. Also, there have been a couple of times when you redid colors that I had previously done without first asking me. Honestly, I thought about doing that, but I changed my mind. In my opinion, that is not polite. I instead chose to present my ideas and make a case for why I feel like redoing the color, and I hope you can understand and appreciate that.

If you want to add your version to the chart, you can do that. I believe the example I used for that color didn’t have good lighting and I couldn’t find a good one which is why it doesn’t look as accurate :( Also, with my latest stuff, I’ve been getting better and better each time I replicate stuff. I believe I am vastly better now than when I first started :)

I haven’t been redoing colors that you’ve done, just the Audi ones and other ones that @Mitcho2001 did and said needed to be redone, plus I’ve been adding colors that haven’t been on the chart at all.

I don’t touch your stuff and if I was going to I would ask or show my example compared to yours before adding it. I’m not trying to get into arguments anymore and I’m just focusing on honing my skills and getting these colors out and ready for everyone to enjoy :)

By the way, PaintRef is still down and not working and I don’t know what’s going on with it. Both the desktop and mobile version aren’t working and haven’t been for a few days :( I hope everything is alright.

Honestly, there is one instance in this thread where you did redo a color I had previously done. It was all the way back on September 6th; the color was Chevrolet's Synergy Green. I had previously done the color on July 31st. You, without warning or explanation, redid the color for some reason. I am not mad (I was a little disappointed at the time, but not now); it was so long ago that my version probably was a bit off. Again, I don't want to make a thing out of this, but I felt that needed to be pointed out as it was topically relevant to our discussion. Anyway, I'll have my version of of the Ferrari color out tomorrow or the next day.

On another note, have you noticed what's going on with PaintRef? I was going to contact the site administrator and ask about what is going on, but my phone wouldn't even load the website. I've just tried on my computer and it went through, but I can't find a way to contact the owners of the site. Do you have any ideas?

I honestly don’t know what’s going on with PaintRef because the website doesn’t load on my phone or laptop either, so I don’t know if they’re having an issue with their website or if they didn’t pay for it this month or something. I don’t believe people would be hacking that site, though, because all it has to do with is car colors lol Other than that, I don’t know and I hope it gets resolved soon. It just happened out of nowhere.

I’m sorry about that :( Next time I’ll do my version and show you to see which version should go up, if I encounter it again. For the most part, I haven’t.

Has Anyone Made Dark Aubergine For Ford,If So Please Send The Codes My Way Or Via Email Email abandonedcarsgb@gmail.com
If myself, @JaCor653 or @Mitcho2001 made that color, it wouldn’t be for your own personal use, but would be shared here, like every other color, for everyone’s enjoyment and use. I don’t know why you’d think otherwise. We don’t make colors so just one person can use them; we do it for everyone.

Incidentally, none of us has done that color. With no knowledge of the color or what it looks like, I will including it in my next batch of colors.

@MadaraxUchiha, I don't want to sound as though I am fishing for compliments, but what do you think of my Grigio Ferro?
You did a great job friend :) Congratulations :) So, in regards to that Verde HyKers color, I'm not sure if it's a different color entirely or if it's still Verde Kers Lucido :confused::confused: I'm working on it as we speak lol

Edit: I'm finished with it now :) I'll upload pics shortly :) @Aljoss Enjoy :)

To anyone new to the forum I just want to reiterate:

1.) Before requesting a color, please check the chart located on page 1 to see if it’s already been added to the chart.

2.) If the color you want isn’t on the chart, please provide the name of the color and manufacturer of the color and a reference picture if possible.

3.) Be patient. We try to get these colors done as fast as possible, but as you know there are a lot of other things going on in our lives so we may not get to them right away but they’ll get done :)

4.) Be respectful of others on here. We’re all here because of a shared passion and love for Forza Horizon 4, cars, and awesome car colors so let’s all get along :)

5.) Have fun and enjoy yourselves :D
