Credit to @nukleabomb for finding the original post on the BMM website trailing the new "experience " at the museum and the ticket launch on 21st April.
You can find more details and order tickets at the link below...:
www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk
For those who don't where the BMM is, it is just off the M40 at junction 12 (Gaydon), close to the Jaguar and Aston Martin factories.
I will be attending and will add comments and photos here after the event.
As with the GT7 London event last year and (way back) the Orange Box preview of GT Sport in 2016 (as @Roo @FT-1 and others will remember), I also hope we can arrange an informal
meet on the day.
It will very busy at the event though (the guy on the BMM desk during my Easter visit indicated they are expecting this to be the biggest individual exhibit they have had there when it opens).
If you are planning to attend the launch event, please drop a message below. And flag if you are interested in meeting up as a group (if so, I will send pms nearer the time).
If you have not been to the BMM before, it is worth a visit in itself as it contains many unique British cars/concepts from recent Lotuses and McLarens, and cars going back all the way to 1905. It includes the first Luton Vauxhall from 1912!, the last Austin/Rover/Morris/Triumph/Wolseley cars ever made
, the last Civic Type R built in Swindon
and also hosts the Jaguar Daimler Historic Trust's collection in a separate building.
I have included a few photos below from my Easter visit...
