if you haven't heard by now, Forza is coming out with a "driving simulator", not to be confused with a racing simulator, players will now get a chance to drive on "open roads" in cars, kinda like what kaz wanted to accomplish. what are your thoughts on forza's new chapter?
 
Yea you should've put this on forza planet or the forza section of the forum. Some GT fans like forza too but most likely you're just asking for trouble by putting this here.
 
I think it belongs in the GT forum as Kaz was the first to discuss this out of Forza and GT.

There is a worrying trend of GT discovering or mentioning ideas and Forza taking them and running with them.

GT Prologue was the first to introduce fully detailed cockpits, then Forza took the idea and ran with it giving 500 cockpits whilst GT5 only gave us an additional 120 over what GT5P had already shown us.

Now Kaz has floated a free roaming C Spec idea, yet to reveal any progress with it and now Forza will have a fully fledged game based on the idea, possibly with the ability to import your Forza garage across.

Will Forza give us all tracks with night/day and weather with Forza 5 before the GT series can even though GT has introduced the idea?
 
I think this thread is going to get closed to avoid another flame war... :ouch:

Here you're asking what will become in Forza, clearly a subject for Forza fans in the Forza section.

As for input on the original post, I think a lot of people here are waiting for the chance of an open world concept. If PD decides to go this route, there will be huge fan support for it.
 
Much as we Appreciate (and share) the desire for free-roam driving in GT, we already have threads for suggestions and wishlists which include this feature. Post it in the Forza section, thanks.
