Forza vs GT4

Anyone out there played Forza on the Xbox?

Completed GT4 some time ago and heard that Forza was indeed a force to be reckoned with (when comparing it to GT4) so I just had to go invest in an Xbox just to try Forza out......................BIG MISTAKE!!
Albeit the graphics are indeed gorgeous on Forza, the cars look more animated vs GT4 and the controls do not feel right.
The only two factors that Forza one-upped GT4 in were on-line play and the ability to customize your factory rides.....i.e, decals, body kits.
The cars on GT4 were simply more realistic and PD made it feel like you were actually driving 180+ mph vs Forza which feels more like a simutation of GT4 instead of simulating real world driving like GT4!!

If you are interested in great-looking background graphics (the Nurbergring background on Forza looks amazing) then Forza is a better game...............but if you are interested in racing and want great car dynamics along with more realistic looking and feeling autos then stick with GT4..........there is no substitute!!

Some other points of Forza are better than GT4 as well.


Penalty when getting off track.
Harder to control car once off track.
Damage.
Skid marks / better tire smoke.
Some cars that SHOULD have been in GT4.
Colission between cars feels better, like you hit a car, not a rock.
Slightly more detail on some courses.
No 4 different fuji speedways.

Though, GT4 also is better than Forza at a lot of points.

Driving feels more natural.
Actual sense of weight transfer.
Not as easy to get out of a spin.
Cars feel way more different from each other.
More stable frame-rate.
Car models looks slightly better.
Non-cosmetic Car tuning is deeper.



Overall I think GT4 is the better DRIVING game, Forza is probably the better racing game. When looking at the car selection of Forza you also see that the focus is more on super cars, which indicates that racing is the main thing.
