Meanwhile, Eurogamer has heard an open world driving game called Forza World is in development at UK developer Playground Games, helmed by ex-Codemasters racing studio executive producer Gavin Raeburn.

Raeburn's LinkedIn profile reveals he's "working on an unannounced AAA title for a major publisher". During his time at Codemasters he helped reboot the Dirt and Grid series.

Would be interesting to see a TDU or Midnight Club style Forza...

I will take a pass on it. TDU and Midnight club did not speak to me at all.

I love TDU1 and this game is not going to replace our classic Forza so bring it!

I am always willing to try new racing games. I can't get enough cars.

I would love a free roam Forza! As long as it wasn't a dumbed down version with worse physics. Normal Forza + free roam = awesome.

Hey, that's Kaz's idea.

Hey, that's Kaz's idea.

Except, if it's true that is, it'll be implemented in a timely fashion if done by Turn10 or whomever.

They should stop wasting time on this and reboot the PGR series.

Now that game was kickass and a half.

I don't know...Microsoft would be best trying to contract Lucid or either of the other two new (formerly Bizarre) studios.

I think a Forza world would be awesome. I'm not sure what to expect, but I think it will be pretty good.

If its some kinda online racer then its DOA for me..................

Hey, that's Kaz's idea.

Im not sure if you can give credit for considering something many studios have done before him.

At any rate I am intrigued by this title.

Interesting, maybe "Forza World" isn't the final name of the game. 💡

They shouldn't call it "Forza" if it doesn't run at 60fps or has dumbed down physics. I smell PGR :sly:.
