its basiclly a sharkport.... and you can't make videos by just uploading the replay to your pc.Most of us make video's with capture cards.

Well if you had XP then you would have the video editing software and you should be able to edit the video with that. But im not sure on this because of the file type. But if you could encode it to avi. or mpeg. then you would be set with it.

gamesaves files from GT3 are not video files. For the last time .You need to get a capture card. Get www.dazzle.com

There you go,much cheaper.

Search for "Pinnacle PCTV" good small capture card for about 60-80 bucks. Not bad if you ask me. Been running with it for about 5 months now, and no problems yet :D

PS2 USB flash drive

That would be it. Looks like I've got something new to go check out.

Maybe this would slim down any problems I'm having with the sharkport.

Hopefully it'll save some time with cheaters in the weekly races.

edit, actually it appears you have to have a max drive to do the transfer. At least it bears further investigation.

I'll have to go shopping tomorrow.

edit, Further found on the web, is that the flash drive has the software in it, to link to the PS2, then you need software on the PC to read it.

Yep, certainly going shopping tomorrow.

Read the link I posted earlier. It's in my sig too if you can't find it.

You do not need a Sharkport/Xport/Max Drive to make videos

NOR can you use them to make videos.

My friend has a 64mb usb flash stick so i borrowed it to see what the deal is. The deal is that my ps2 will not even see the damn thing when i plug it in. So i dont know if my ps2 is a little screwed or they are just not set up to recognize new hardware like that.
