I'm pretty sure this has been covered many times but i'm a noob and not really familiar with the site yet. Does anyone know how to do a FR burnout?? Is there some special settings? Can anyone help me out? Thanks

Hello.sohc92si Welcome to GTP

i dont have any settings or anything im not sure if i can burnout in them just put ASM and TCS to 0 that mite help.. :D

Hold down the handbrake and stomp the gas, that should do the trick. Turn the TCS off too.

Well for starters you could try holding down the emergency brake and the gas, then just letting go of the e-brake.

Good luck on this, but Im sorta wondering why you would even want to do this...?

Everyone will tell you to buy the brake balance controller and set the brakes to the front and stuff like that. If the cars powerful enough you can just go full throttle from a start and push the brake lightly until the car stops moving but the tires still spin.

thanks for the info. I wanted to do this because i was watching one of the GT3 videos on this site and there was a bmw doing a rear wheel burnout and his rotors were lighting up. Thats the only reason why. thanks

Jeez, don't hold the handbrake unless its FF. On 4WD,FR,MR,RR put the TSC and ASM to 0, when gas at a Complete stop gas it then hold hold the brake in a split second. You must do it very quickly. That How I found it out.

if yu wanna do a nice burnout, get a breake controller, set the front to 24 and rear to 0, and have fun by:

1. flooring the gas pedal and holding the brake at the same time.
2. let the brake go FOR AN INSTANT
3. press the brake again, and enjoy a burnout :)

1. Make sure your car has a Brake Balance Controller and a Full Racing Transmission. I'd put more grippier tires on the front (if its FR) and less grippy tires on the back.

2. Set the brake balance to its highest on the front and its lowest on the back.

3. Set your transmission's autoset to a low setting (for higher acceleration).

4. If you have the right amount of power you can hold the brake and then push the gas.

Welcome to GTPlanet :)...

or...
taqke the wheels off the back and replace them with blocks of concrete...

heh, if yu can do that in GT3

w00 h00, i got my diablo :):):):):):):):)

Just turn off TSC, and the ASM, hold down the brake, and the accelerator at the same time, it also depends on the amount of power you car has, and the tires you have on the back. You should be okay with super slick tires if you have more that 300 hp, and you should get the same effect that you saw in the video, I think I know which one you are talking about, and the car in the video is a mercedes benz clk 55

Yeah, what they said!!! welcome to the world of GRAN TURISMO!!!!

For better burning buy soft tyres at the front and hard at the back.
