Yeah, I was just having a bit of fun with this race. At one point on the second lap, at that longish straightaway, I just stopped completely and let some cars pass and then started going again... You'll see...

edit: for some reason, embedding the video using the youtube button in the advanced post editor isn't working.... at least for me right now...

I'll try to help you with the youtube:

You just have to push the youtube button in the menu and paste the numbers en letters of the video in in it.

In your video I marked them in red: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iK9GjbBSJrE

Nice race, I'm still amazed about the looks of GT5.

ahh, I see. I thought you had to paste the entire link. Thanks for the info, and thanks for the kind words. I really wish I could get a capture card, or PVR of some sort, but the only decent ones I saw that are compatible and that would work for me are in the $180 price range. Which I think is just too much to pay just to record video games. I know you can do more with it, but that's all I would be using one for...

anyway, thanks again! and yeah, sometimes I think I spend more time watching replays(premium cars of course) and taking photos of my cars, than actually racing/driving them...

This is me using a stock 2010 Camaro SS, doing a lap around the Top Gear track from a complete stop start. The only thing I did was put a set of Sports Soft tires on the car. Lap time is in the description.

I think I could have gotten maybe two seconds shaved off if I pushed the car a little more around the Hammerhead, but I didn't want to slide out, so I took it a bit easy there...
