That's your opinion, and I respect that. My opinion, is that, no matter what anyone says, God is my protection and my guidence. Just because there is a more powerful being up there doesn't stop me from trying to be better than I am now. And I hate it when people go around saying, "I'm only human. I'm not perfect." It annoys the heck out of me!

Nice edit. Took out the Bull**** part, eh? I'm going to have to start quoting these things. That's the second time I've seen that today.

You are just so full of cheer this week. I hope things get better for you. I really do.

And people say this forum isn't as argumentative as GTF!

I'm sorry milefile, I am trying to deal with an issue that I can't control at home...really, it's like all of my family members are venting on me...but anyway...sorry....

I feel the same way. Have good reasoning for why you believe what you do, don't have it all be excuses. And also respect people's beliefs.

Do I dislike Athiests because they don't believe in God and the Church? No!
Do I dislike Athiests? Some, but not because they're Athiest.

Do I dislike Lutherans because they don't believe in the Church? No!
Do I dislike Lutherans? Some, but not because they're Lutheran.

Do I like all Catholics? No!
Do I like Catholics? Some, but not because they're Catholic, but because of their character.

I think some people just have rough weeks and it shows up here. No hard feelings though.By the time the next thread starts we start arguing about something else and forget what we were arguing about before.

I think some people address others in a presumptuous way in order to seem as though they're in a position to dole out pity or advice. It's one of the god-squad's hackneyed tactics.

Possibly you are very hateful and I'm wrong and it's not just a bad week but a bad life. Get over it.

You've moved on to judging an entire life. When itty-bitty antagonisms don't get results, go for the gusto, right?

Im just saying maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it's not just a bad week that is making you hateful. I'm not judging your life. That's not my position to do that.
Please explain how you can, in the same breath, call him - in no uncertain terms - "hateful", and go on to say you're not judging his life.

That's not an easy conflict to rationalize. Though, based purely on my observations about your posts here, you're probably not worried about that at all.

It's easy to see hatefull acts.If someone punches me in the face I would say they are either hateful or angry. I'm judging their actions and not the person.

Based purley on my observations about your post here you are probably more interested in proving me wrong than being a good moderator.

The problem with DGB (I know I'm stating the obvious) is that when a discussion actually starts digging deep he gets offended because he sees how his "opinion" (you know, The Truth which is based on fact) has no grounding whatsoever. Then he aims his passive christian malice at whomever appears to be the cause of his blown mental fuse. I suppose thats natural enough, but he goes further by denying it and running away, excusing himself with piousness, and periodically impugning himself even more by dropping in to make the occasional barely sarcastic remark.

Wait... am I being hatefull?

Or maybe just angry. Grr.
