Does anybody know of any?

I have LFS but I'm looking for more. And not just racing games, are there any FPS games that are half decent and free?

yah. I played that lego game. Great fun :D
Unfortunatly you do tend to get people that jump in the server, smash everything up, and run away though.. Just like in real life realy :P

Hmm speaking of old games, if you do a search on 'Abandonware' you should get a few sites that are dishing out classics for free. At the moment i'm downloading 'Flashback' which I used to play on the Amiga.

:embarrassed: i looked at the lego game and i see its made on a FREE engine so someone just grabbed the engine. downloaded it and put the lego blocks ingame.

I played on that engine before. Not a lot of possibilities but its good enough to make a simple game

Tribes 2 was made on the same engine

Full free version of wolfenstein: enemy territory is the best free game ive ever downloaded. You can find it anywhere... hundreds of mods, user created maps too.

Ah, last time I posted here I forgot to talk about Gunbound. It´s a free online game, Worms style. I used to play it a lot, for about a year and a half. Then about last November I got bored of it and stopped playing, but I think I might download it again.

It´s a 90mb file if I´m not mistaken, check it out.

Edit: I´m downloading it right now per torrent, and it´s a 140mb´s file.

That is a pretty fun game. 👍

I thought you had to pay for Live For Speed?

According to the site you only get a few cars & tracks (more or less like a demo), and you have to buy a license to unlock the rest?

I havnt actually played it, so i may be mistaken, but this is what i read on the site and so didnt bother downloading since it sounds more like a 'demo' than a full game.

We should get some kind of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory thing going on. The game is free and runs on practically anything (was playing it on a laptop, Athlon 2000+ mobile, onboard SiS) smoothly, granted not full of eye candy, but it ran.

Can you play it online? I guess that the answer is yes.
