Free Nissan GT-R? **UPDATE**

I received an email on Nov 28th telling me "As a reward for playing the heart racing GT Academy 2013 demo, you’ve been given a free in-game Nissan GT-R GT3 for Gran Turismo®6.".

Anyone else get this mail and if so how do you claim it?

No code to enter. It just said "*Once you have your copy of Gran Turismo 6, you will receive your free in-game Nissan GT-R GT3"

A call tomorrow to Playstation Support is on the cards.
 
Same here , but before i installed gt6 i deleted the demo, maybe that caused it? What about you guys?
 
I think its because they took the Community away in the update, so it is not possible to send gifts. (This is how they sent the cars before).
I don't think they will give a code out for everyone.
We will just have to wait for the update to see what happens....
 
Yep no free Nissan GT-R GT3 either, guess I'll use my Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 15th Anniversary Edition 2013.

I received a call from PS support today to see if the GT-R had arrived with the 1.02 update but thus far no car.

Latest reports suggest that the car is now slowly being filtered into peoples game this evening.

An update from PS support with follow at 5pm GMT
 
Got the car today. I downloaded my Anniversary cars, "claimed" them and suddenly the GT-R popped up.

Hmmm I had to do a full install today and still no car. I will take another look tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
 
Yes it appeared when i logged in a couple of hours back. Regular GT3 from the garage but oddly enough comes with a standard gearbox and standard suspension - in a GT3 race car!! Good for free though and a decent car once specced up!
 
It's just the 2013 GT-R GT3 from the Nürburgring 24h, so nothing too special.
If you really want it, buy it from the dealership. ;)

@XPOWER180 : The car's based upon the road car and tuned to GT3 specifications.
Would be interesting to know if it got a racing gearbox in real life.

I didnt know that, cheers! I thought it looked slightly different than the other 2 GT3 models available.
 
I just got mine, it is given to you like a prize car when you start the game then is put into your garage.
 
Sum people cannot get this motor even if they completed Gt Academy due to the country they live is not eligible. Which is a weird move from the makers of the game.

Those people are still able to buy it from the dealership tho, it only costs 350k.
 
I never received, or acknowledged any email. If you took part in GT academy then you would be signed in to PlayStation network, so the car will be tied to your PSN account, automatic??

I can't even remember participation in GT academy, but I was given the car once I started the game today.

If you downloaded and played the GT6 demo earlier this year and registered a clean lap time in the GT-R at Silverstone, you participated.
