Greetings Drifters,

My name is David Adams and I am a LCPL in the United States Marine Corps. The reason I am here today is to inform all of you who are interested that I am planning to open a school sometime in the near future. But, as all the professionals say, you have to get you're name out first and then get a name for yourself second. So I am offering, free of charge, lessons to any and all drifters who need assistance with their practice.

Now, I'm not trying to make it seem like I am some super-stellar drifter, I make mistakes too, but I have my certificate from Hokuri Shin's School of Specialized Driving in Nago,Okinawa, JA. The course was a year long and taught me everything from proper techniques of grip to the fundamentals of drift. I am certified from an acredited driving school and upon arrival at the location, I will show everyone my certificates for reassurance purposes.

This is open to anyone and everyone who lives in or around the DC Metro area and/or to all who can get to the area at will.

As of late, I have decided to make this course a non-pass-or-fail course, taking a page from my instructors book, as I will continue to remediate as much as possible until you learn what you need to get sideways the way that you want to.

It is one of my goals and dreams to teach at least one person and get them to carry on and win a sanctioned event. The feeling of pride that would come from that would just be surreal and I can't even begin to describe the pride my drift instructor felt when he saw me drifting, and beating, the Japanese locals and Japanese drift crews at the Nago Circuit. I would like to be able to feel this pride, so I am offering these lessons so that people will know that I know what I am talking about and so that I can get students drifting.

Once again, these lessons are free as a promotion ONLY. That means, that right now, you can get FREE lessons for as long as you want and learn as much as you want. That's right, absolutely free, I am more about getting people sideways than I am about getting money for it.

However, (You knew this was coming) once my school is opened and debts start establishing, I will have no choice but to initiate a fee for my lessons.
Which is exactly why I am asking you to jump on this now, before it costs money, that way, when you hear about people graduating from David Adams' School of Specialized Driving 10 years from now, you can look back and laugh, because you remember when you got lessons from David Adams on a Maryland autocross and on a closed off mountain road.

If you are interested, send me an email with the best times to meet you and letting me know what kind of car you drive and how often you want/need lessons. Also let me know if you have any moral or principle feelings against drifting on a closed off mountain roads, I will then adjust my lesson plan to maintaining the lessons to the books and the autocross track.

Thank you for your time,
LCPL David Adams

How goes your 240sx Shadow? Done up any bolt-ons on it yet? Still thinking of doing a turbo KA? Mines been sitting in a parking lot for around 2 weeks waiting on my damned TEIN RA coilovers (which are still on back-order until May), so that I can drop my car and get my cat-back off my rear diff.

Right now, my baby needs some serious surgery. She needs to have her bumper realigned and a fender popped on the passenger side.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED ME TO NEED A NEW FENDER!:D

So what I'm going to do is take my 240 up to New York on May 7th and get her fender put on, this new bumper aligned properly and a fresh paint job ( the color will remain a secret until I unviel her) and I've got this engine on lock, a KA24DE. She'll get thrown in as well. And what's funny is since the owners of the shop are my best friend and a relative, I'll probably only wind up paying for the paint job. Oh well, we'll see.

The engine is being shipped to NY as we speak. I can't wait to take it from a KA24DE to a KA24DET, that'll be so sick. Maybe I can scrape up the money and engine space to make it a KA24DETT. THAT'D BE SICK!!!

LOL!

Anyway, yeah so while this car's in the shop I'll be driving my touge terror around to see what she handles like with her coil-over suspension and Getrag Transmission (that's a top of the scale 5-speed for the uneducated). But yeah, she'll be my little highway, street and touge warrior.

I'm in N. FL. I'll be getting my 240 in a day or two, I think we should organize some sort of meet or something and get a few people there all at once so we can have a bunch of fun. But yeah, VA is a bit far but I'd be willing to take a road trip there at least once for a little drifting expedition. I got some 757 buddies over on 240sxforums.com that I can probably get to meet up too!
