Since i'm having issues with my CSP's on GT5 I've bought a new laptop (acer, win7, i7 and GEforce) because I probably want to have a go with Iracing when the issue is fixed.

I don't have any experience with pc-racers....Is there a free trail version of a good game that I can try to see if the CSP's will work..?
Not interested in illegal stuff so a 1 car, 1 track demo is more than enough to help me go troubleshooting :sly:

Hi, do you know if this PC is any good for the upcoming Race Sims: GTR3 and rFactor2

I don't know if you mean "this" as my laptop but it should be according to the shop.
The screen isn't the best but i'm streaming on another monitor so I didn't care about it.
Most important was the Geforce card and the i7 core and that would be sufficient for upcoming games as i'm told.

When my adapter arrives for the Logitech pedals i'll try the Iracing2-trail but I don't want to trow away money on that just yet if I can't drive :ouch:

Live for speed has a free demo, go to lfs.net I think and download it, from there you can unlock the full S2 lisence or the S1 lisence. It will definately run on your laptop too because it runs on my 3 year old intel centrino laptop:D

Tnx..!

Going to down that so I can try to see if I can get the pedals to work when I get home tomorrow 👍

with this i mean MP Allround Core i3-2100

Edit: 512MB Graphics Memory 4 GB RAM, 3.04 GHZ i think i neeed at least 1024 MB Graphics Memory isn't it guys?

What wheel do you have? I use a T500 RS with CSP's and they work great. You can't use 2 controllers with the PS3, but on the PC you can use up to 3. It won't be a problem. Just be aware with iRacing you will shell out over $600 for the first year of racing.

Do the math and figure it out- iRacing is very expensive.

I own a CSR-Elite with CSP's but they have an issue which Fanatec believes is loadcell related, it's not..I'm sure :indiff:
For the time being I've ordered the G25/27 pedal adapter so atleast I can race untill the CSP problem is fixed. (which feels like taking forever :ouch: )

I'm fully aware of the price but after reading the forums I really want to give it a go. (1 month for 12,-)
Rfactor2 is also on my try before you die wishlist, for now a pc demo and GT5 will do.

That kinda warnings? I've been playing it for a few weeks now, no issues ^^.

Things like: Give publisher rights to change the computer..? :scared:
I'm no wizz-kid so better safe then sorry :sly:

Nice laptop specs dude. =] Haven't heard of Live for speed. I think I'll try it as well.

Tnx, best for the buck as I'm told (669,- euro's)

All that means is allow it to install, its a windows warning that I get when I install every single thing, every time I run certain games, something to do with admin rights in your operating system.

Not something to be worried about ^^, its quite normal.
