About a week ago I got a bone in my tuna sandwich so I went on Starkist's website and sent them an email complaining about it. Yesterday I got a letter of apology and a bunch of cupons for free tuna. Cool! I think I'm going to go complain on more food websites and see what I get!

I've done that myself a couple of times. (not tuna though, other products) and the usual routine is that they send coupons 10-20$. Once I found a small stone in black caviar and that time I was upset, I could have destroyed my teeth.. But anyway the food companies seems to be very generous about this, it's probably easy to get a bad reputation if you don't make up for your mistakes.

Hrm, I should probably complain. I bit down on a supposedly-pitted salad olive and broke one of my molars. It cost me about $500 to have it capped.

Why is that cool? That's just more bones for you to choke on. You should've told them that you wanted coupons for Bumble Bee tuna instead. :D

You get bones in there, too. I eat a lot of tuna. If you eat enough of it you will find a bone eventually. And I prefer Starkist because it is much easier to drain the water from the can. That's basically the only difference, but it's a big one.

So there. Way more than you ever wanted to know about me and tuna.

Okay, didn't know that. I don't eat any type of seafood.

*EDIT* Wait a minute! I just re-read that. If that's the case, then why the hell did they put up with you complaining on the website!?!

A friend of my dad's found a cigar butt in a bottle of beer. He complained and mailed the cigar butt to them and a guy from Anheuser Busch came to his house and gave him all kids of free stuff like folding chairs, patio umbrellas, coolers, and cases and cases of free beer.

 They gave him kids?! :p

Pretty cool story though. :)

Cool! 👍

When I first read that, I was thinking that he found it in an empty bottle. :D Wouldn't that be something?

First Guy drinks beer. Sets down empty bottle.

Second Guy drops smoked cigarette butt in the bottle.

Third guy comes along, finds bottle with cigarette butt in it, and $ Cha-ching! $

I'm not too smart sometimes. I know.

I once found a penut in my museli one day, but even more disgusting is what I found in a dim sim.
One evening we were having fish and chips. I took a bite out of the dim sim and found some dental floss and a toe nail :yuck: :yuck: :yuck: :yuck: :grumpy:

Ive had a similar experience before....

2 years ago, i bought a bottle of sobe, I managed to find a small shard of glass, slightly smaller than a penny, i sent it in. I wound up with a long apology letter, and a wole bunch of free sobe cupons. :D

I watched a cockroach climb out of my friend's school-chicken from across the table once last year. I haven't eaten school food since fifth grade, but it's still nasty just to know it's there.

I just remembered I found a claw or tooth of some kind in some take-out Mexican food once. I was so pissed because I was starving but I obviously couldn't eat for a while after that. I kept thinking it was from a cat and freaking myself out. I never complained, but I also never went back there.

That just gave me second thoughts...:odd:

The worst is when you think you are getting chicken Mc nuggets, but you are getting a chicken Mc head.
