I've noticed several times now that GT5 suddenly freezes (as in 'you have to quit the game, because the screen is frozen and the sound is a monotone hum of the last rpm's of what the engine had') when I do testing in the Practice-area.
I managed to identify the reason (it's reproducable) as obviously corrupted ghost-laps, which will work initially (you can start driving), until the ghost passes start/finish for the first time. Of course, the ghost has to be ahead - otherwise it will never reach start/finish.
As this has happened 3 times now for me with different ghost laps with different cars and on different tracks, it must be some bug in the code under certain circumstances. I would say it happened 3 times out of a total of 20-30 ghost laps I saved, so the bug seems to be pretty big and not some freak occurrence.
Anyone else experience this?
