ive just had too start my gt5 save again after my ps3 died, ive reinstalled the additional data package that happens at the very start yet im having a hard time accessing certain events both a-spec and seasonal due to crashing whilst loading the track, can anybody help me with this issue cause its doing my head in not being able to play :-(

it seems to be happening whenever i try to load the rome track has anybody else had this issue
 
I do apologies but I reported your post earlier as it only had a few words to it and made no sense. I now realise you've added your full post so must say sorry about that.

On topic, are you on-line with it? Have you tried disconnecting from the web and seeing if the problems still occur?
 
it seems too only happen when i try the italia festival or the ferrari special event ive managed to do all the other tracks in the events except the rome race it seems it gets too the screen where im ready to start raceing and then the music stops and my ps3 becomes unresponsive, ive also noticed that the starting grid (list of competitors) is blacked out
 
I've actually had a similar problem a few times and really have no idea why it does it.
 
so i guess i gotta keep trying till im lucky enough that it loads up once great stuff :@ might try uninstall/install the game data see if that works?!
 
yay it seems that the uninstall/install of the game data worked :-)
