Freezing someones room...

I was racing yesterday with some friends and room said "clean no hacks no x1s". someone came in driving a 500F and I ask him to leave and he said kick me I freeze your room. really? I kicked him and he DID FREEZE MY ROOM. I had to totally cut everything off and restart again, then he came back under another name and did it again...does anyone know how to call Sony Co. and has anyone else had this problem?
 
Freeze Game?, sound funny :lol:. I never herd of it, or been involved but it seems to be dangerous and pathetic, if its a big problem PD will really need to be involved with this. Could you give me the guys details, ill try to figure how he does it, and when i found out i'll share it :)

it really is not funny and it really did happen and a lot of ppl now is tell me it has happened to them. I do not know how to connect Sony or PD. it can destroy your data and one person had to start from the very beginning of the game again. I have two backups hopeful that will take care of it if it hit my data.
 
Anyway, i think someone did the same to me, it was at one of those London 80mph lounges, just because i was racing clean and using my own lane, about 3 guys suggested to use offensive language and a request to kick, as soon as they kicked me the game froze, at the time i didn't know what the cause was but it probably was them. Also 3-5 times i found my game resetting to the beginning of the game on my secondary account by freezing, lucky it was my second account but i lost some goods, this seriously needs to be officially patched. Now it seems GT5 is really becoming overtaken by hackers, and non clean racers, you can hardly do a serious race. 1st we had Hybrid cars and now Freezing Games, whats next?

This soudns like some serious issue. I hope this gets fixed.
 
It's rather easy to do, a "badly modded" car that the game cannot recognize being brought out onto the track can do it.. It happens in the hybrid rooms all the time.. I actually have a 100% LEGITIMATE Edge Camaro I got when they first came out, something is messed up with its data, anytime I pull it out in any room, no one can get on or off the track and if you try to the lounge freezes.. It's kinda nice when the host is being a 🤬 :D .. But every other time I just want to show it or use it that sucks..

This is true! I have the same Edge Camaro and I use it for the same reason. If the host is a jerk I just shut thier room down with it.

Ah yes, the online community needs more people like you. :rolleyes: (sarcasm) I say this with sacasm because just because you may think the host is a jerk, doesn't mean everyone else in the room does. Therefore, you just went and shut the room down and inconvienenced everyone else just because of your dislike of the host. Pretty selfish, don't you think? Wouldn't it be more mature to just leave the room and find a new one with a host you're happy with?

Totally agree with you - I literally hate people who have that kind of attitude, but so far I've unfortunately encountered quite a couple of these.

Yea well, its reasoning like his that I pretty much stay offline nowadays. Really don't have the patience for that sort of bs.

Join Dbeav's cruise room :) I often drop in there, just cruising around together, chats, and hybrids are welcome, there's a HP limit at 700 and sports tire at max.

There will be race at times, but overall the groups are nice, clean drivers.
