Looks awesome. Will the handbrake work with the PS3 too at the same time as the shifter(s)?

I'm not sure ,even the H-SHIFTER TYPEG must wire
the original logic board on it by user,
and Frex said will have a TYPEG handbrake for G25 G27,
so I think the handb+ may not work on G25 & G27.
Maybe do a Chilicoke DIY mod~:dopey:

Looks really good, I do wish Frex gave more detail on what is involved in making it work though.

They should add an adapter so their gate shifter works with Fanatec wheels also seeing as the CS shifter seems vapourware. Would be interested to see how it compares to the SST?

It's just replace the mechanical parts of the G25/G27 SHIFTER,
so ,user must take out the logic board form original shifter, then plug the FREX SHIFTER wire on the shocket of the logic board.
They have install instruction download on the page.

Along with the shifter, Frex is also releasing a G27/G25 compatible pedals. Here's the pic:

We will have a Hshifter "Type G" which connect to G25 or G27.- already noted
Also, PC/GT5 compatible wheel adapter switch controller box
it will have a connectors for Shift+ and Handbrake will be available.

Please wait.

the "box' he's talking about is already out. Ordered mine yesterday. Its just a stand alone unit to plug the bare wires of the Frex shift+ and handbrake into a plug n play usb

Why is it vaporware? It's not expected until the end of 2011.

Please give us a review and post some pictures when you get it.

I found that the HSHIFT TYPEG have some issue on neutral gear,
There have a 2-4 second delay when shift into neutral, so when shift with clutch enable,
would not be see the shifter pass through the "N" on the gear indicator,
and if not push the clutch then shift, it will stay in previous gear all the way
or turn to neutral with few second delay.
I email to Frex, finally he reply this problem maybe cause by the different
between the hardware design, the original one is use potentiometer but
Frex use a switch for the axis.
Switch response quicker than potentiometer that might have a confusion
to judge for neutral.
Frex said not quite sure, they still investigating and hope can fix it by software.

It didn't cause a big problem in GT5 gameplay actually,
(seems we can't do nothing with double clutch technique in GT5),
but still want it to be perfect.

P.S.
I post this problem report on their youtube channel and their official forum after I haven't receive
any useable answer with email over a few weeks ,both got removed immediately .... ,
but then, they reply my email in very quick response .
I don't know why. What's wrong with it ?

I get a reply from Frex today, Frex said it can be simply wiring the handB+ to
the G25/G27 button pad just like Chilicoke real handbrake mod, to trigger the on/off switch.
Quite sure that can work with the PS3.
