Hey guys,
If anyone is interested in racing unrestricted NASCARs on Fridays at 10:00 PM Eastern / 7:00 PM Pacific, please feel free to add me (alefin) to your friends list! Races usually last at least 60 minutes. We run with the following settings:
Weak slipstream
No penalties
Heavy damage
Tire wear / Fuel consumption on
Real off-road grip
ABS allowed (all other assists off)
We're working our way down the track list distance wise (any track that has pits and isn't off-road). Friday March 2nd will be on Daytona Road Course. Our most recent race was on Nürburgring GP/F.
This is a pretty informal NASCAR Friday, as results tracked are dependent on the number of people participating and calculated into an average, so you're not particularly penalized for not making every single race. Anyone that has fun with these cars and enjoys the company of others is encouraged to join!
Unfortunately, this was our last NASCAR race, as interest on Fridays seems to be quite low.
Once we complete the final track (Nürburgring 24h), we'll switch to a 10 race series with randomly selected tracks.
We've been having these NASCAR Fridays for quite some time (over a year now), but out of all our other races, it's probably the one that has the fewest participants (not surprising considering it's Friday
), so we need some new competition!
