I was building my PC and went to plug the PSU cable into the big 24 pin slot on the motherboard but I didn't realise the PSU power was on. As I began to push it slightly in the PSU light flashed its normal colour (blue) and the fan started however I pulled it out as soon as that happened. It was only connected for a split second. My PC shows no signs of life right now, and was working fine prior to this
Is my psu or motherboard fried possibly?

EDIT: I did the PSU test with a paperclip (green to black) and the pc powers on as normal, so I don't think that's the issue. Could it have blown my motherboard somehow??

Is your CPU or GPU fan spinning at all? If the answer is no, try another CPU if you can. It does sound like eithe the motherboard or the CPU has blown.
