For some reason I've never used mods until some days ago when I was grinding trying to buy some expensive cars. Then I saw you could get over 200% more money and also exp if you use some mods.
They really do help a lot!
However some of the best ones do cost you money so it's better to use them if you are at least racing for 4/5 laps.
