Friesacher out...

...Doornbos in. There had been alot of talk about Friesacher running out of finances and Doornbos signing a contract of intent with Minardi and yesterday it was announced.

Doornbos will race at this weekends German GP along side Albers, and this will be the first ever all-Dutch line-up in an F1 team.

Albers has an orange helmet, orange and black. Personally I think Albers is the better driver, plus he has more racing experience so I think he will outperform Doornbos for at least the first few races.

Last year, he drove in F3000. He was Liuzzi's teammate and won the race at Spa. He hasn't been around for very long (started racing in 1998), but that doesn't seem to be a problem...

his seat was a paid sea. ie: he payed the team to drive the car.

Albers is also paying for his seat but he has alot of commercial sponsors so his seat is not in danger. Doornbos was paying for his seat at Jordan so I assume the same is true for Minardi.
