i'm saying there's a very, very good chance that this build is months old.
PD have one of the highest-quality franchises EVER. You look at Forza 3, and you see floating cars in online, half of the interiors were completely non-functional when it launched, none of the drivers had shift animations that worked (official word is that they were clipping through the wheel a bit), and what not. Then look at GT5P. Bugs include the brake lights for the Subaru Impreza in white (only white), not working around the London track when you drive backwards. From purchase on release day, it's possible for players not to notice a single thing wrong with the game. Sure some things may have gone wrong, but they're minor enough that most people won't ever notice them.
One of those games was rushed onto the shelves. One of them was not.
Now, considering that, would you put your latest, brand new nurburgring build on display at a massive electronics show? Or would you put an earlier build, that you had weeks or even months to test on show?
