Frontal Downforce?

Hey guys, I was kind of a bit disappointed to find out that many of the supercars have little to no frontal downforce. I find it hard to believe a manufacturer would not add frontal downforce to a car doing over 330km/h :/

Anyways, and why just a back wing? For the Enzo, it just screws up its handling at high speed. At the ring, I actually leave the rear downforce at ten lol, to prevent it from taking off on me. Really, with just 2 downforce, that thing does not have much traction at high speeds...

With just 15 clicks, every super car would be really well off.

My two cents.

Most of the supercars in the game have front downforce, its just not adjustable. The Enzo for example has channels that send air over the top of hood and a flat underside.

Oh no, I know that :P But it isn't enough, like really, only 2 clicks? Its like nothing at all..:ouch:
Thanks for your answer though :)

I'm not too familiar with the Enzo, I know the nose and the air scoops generate downforce at the front, and the entire car in total generates ~750 kg of downforce compared to 500ish from a Zonda F. The reason the Enzo handles so poorly is probably more to do with the limited amount of wheel travel and the drag coefficents.

Yes, that is what I would expect, but the frontal downforce of the Enzo is just 2 units...thats nothing! And yes, one could adjust suspension and LSD settings, but how are they useful when the front wheels don't touch the ground?
:)

Lower front ride height?

This is a major balance issue within the various classes of cars in online racing.

Most production cars do not get the 'extension' aero, but the ones that do will turn lap times much quicker than the equal cars without the extension.

The limit in customization in terms of tuning is quite frustrating as some cars have no chance to compete with other cars they would easily compete with in the real world.

Are you sure? Someone else did a test with two identical cars, one with and one without the canards (extensions) and the lap times were within hundredths of each other, ie the same.

I'm almost certain the rear wing is the only functional aero in the game.
