frustrating races

these new races that are 600pp are frustrating, if you tune a car they Ai cars leave you and if you use standard without changing tyres(yeah cant take corners in wet) you are still with AI cars, now ive managed to find a midway being R34 GT-R V-SPEC II Nur 02 you can now start to catch from start and leave a bigish gap, but next time you get in tunnel on Tokyo expressway these AI cars are all over you like a rash! so where they manage find the power as this isnt racing if the PD write it in GAME! not sim! only way possible is if id have got a penalty and slowed or reduced speed for some unknown reason 🤔 these 1hr races are worse, you can have a car you know wins all other races or their category to find you are stuck in a mid place 🤔 Ai cars go off and next min stuck on your arse! if thats the case they should be in first and i should still be on starting line. never in all my years have i seen this in any races ive been to or seen. if this is best they can do to convince you this is racing people migt be better moving over to Asseto.
 
The enduros, and the 12 lap Tokyo race, aren’t about pace.

They are about consistency, fuel saving and tyre management…… kinda like real racing.

Enjoy the process. Don’t get angry that you can’t win. Practice and enjoy the grind.

😂 really, so how does that work if Ai cars rub alongside you and slow you or shunt you 🤔 i set power/lean i also try to choose best tyre as being inters, change at lap 6 with no fuel added 🤔 because it doesn't need any, so what bit is like real racing again 🤔 in real racing them cats would be black flagged, dont get angry 😂 si when theres missing decals or decals moved on cars, missing images in livery editor, Ai cars on railtracks, my times are consistent and in first half lap im in 5th thats what you do in racing i should know ive been around it long enough. so you set a pace off first lap and try to stay at that with tyre wear taken into consideration.

Which is fair enough, but in real racing they don't put the fastest driver 30 seconds behind the second fastest driver and then put 14 randos in the middle to get in the way. Chase the rabbit is not like real racing and never will be.

Yes and no.

I’m not a fan of the chase the rabbit style either, but with the enduros the cars are a lot closer together.

There are times, in racing, when the fastest car is at the back and has to pass everyone to get a result….. but not every race I agree.
 
these human races are glitchy as hell, image flickers at certain parts on track or when you get close to cars you are catching, slight fluctuations in car control at same time but you just gotta push through it 😔 Tokyo is a pain in arse, but these human races are easier to win by a lap

If you don't want to work for a win just buy the Tomahawk vgt & do the gearbox exploit to get it under PP600 then your only problem will be dodging back markers from the 2nd or 3rd lap onwards.
Otherwise the only other advice I can offer is to look at Praiano's tunes because he has some killer PP600 tunes, I've used a few new to win races. 👍
