i'm so pissed........
a biased judge came in....
he made stupid comments on the second round and made me look really mad..... > <
btw this is for my science fair, reply to it if you want, or share your previous experineces with biased/rigged competitions
 
in the 5th grade, i and this freakishly short guy did a report on the Vietnam War. we had some pictures of "casualties," and one of the judges was, apparenty, pretty upset about it.
she almost barfed (we still got 2nd place).

there weren't any entrails, or anything. just blood.

its OBVIOUS to my friends that my proj overall was better than this girl's, but then the judge was like, this project is crap
the other judges said my project was overall well done
 
I never told you, but you're project rocked. It's 20 times better than the one's I did when I was your age, and ****...it's 20 times better than anything I could do now.:lol: I was seriously impressed after reading your report.👍

its scary
different xrays (alpha beta gamma i think) penetrating walls, which penetrates the least..
its so scary...
 
should have done the strongest type of condom......i won my science comp in form 3........funny tests......stretch.......snap..... hehe

My science teacher was the judge so it was all good

It sucks that a science judge can't see that you found the science in something you already liked and value that. I'm sure he would've been happier to see you pull your hair out and agonize over quantum mechanics or some other field requiring you to learn a new vocabulary that would benefit you for the few minutes the ass-hole judge is scrutinizing you.

that judge came back for 3rd round judging...
cuz yesterday night, we had to go back for a public display
the judge was there even after the judging was over, and he still critizied people.. so evil
then, today after school, i went to get my project to go home, he was there AGAIN

Hey, that sucks that you got a bad judge...but do you win anything for winning the science fair?
 
That does certainly stink on the Judges part. After the judging you should hav eapproached him and suggest that the WWE is also looking for fair and impartial judges.

I can attest to the biased judges. In college, I had a lesbain teacher, that gave the only A in the class for that semester to a lesbian in the class.

The problem I had was the quality of reports the student gave, and her lack of attendence in the class. Every other student in the class was shocked. But it was a required class to graduate, and therefore, everyone accepted their "B" instead of protest.

My biggest question on your prediciment is did the Judging have any effect on your overall grade? Waaay back when I was in high school, the presentations were more of a "show and tell" type event, with the report and material being the biggest determinant in grading.

My only experience with biased judges is one time i was auditioning for an orchestra and the girl before me was the student of the judge and the girl ABSOLUTELY SUCKED, but the judge was like "Umm..That was great. Very good." I was standing in the hall thinking WTF is she talkin 'bout. I don't want to boast but i know that i did much better whats-her name. But the girl got first chair!!!!! In an orchestra that's like getting 1st place. I was still kinda happy because i got 2nd chair. That pissed me off!
