What time should we start Sunday eventing race nights?

Think I'll stick to my Honda although I've not taken it to Suzuka yet so I may yet change my mind.

I thought we were going to have a poll about it, but never mind that then... Suzuka it is! Let me know if you're going to hit the track for some practice and tuning, I'll join in if I'm available.

I figure we'll be hitting Suzuka this Sunday, seems like a lot of people like that track. I took my FTO for a spin round there a few minutes ago, and it's an absolute beast! I managed a 2.05.xx over ten laps or so, a full second and a half faster than my Altezza. I'll definitely be driving the FTO this Sunday :D

Flimbo can take my spot and run with Eidolon, if It's okay with him.... I don't really... I really don't... I seriously don't.... I... I... I hate Suzuka! so I'm staying out of this one...

Perhaps we should all have chinese food on Sunday night - Certainly made Marcus faster than the rest of us.
 
Sorry guys, am very busy IRL and not getting alot of play time.
As for track- RDA has a poll idea. If he sets it up before sunday we can use that.
Or use suzuka.

Hope to get time off at the weekend so catch up more then.

weird I can only manage 2.07.xx with the FTO but i manage 2.05.xx with the Altezza hahaha

I've been struggling around Suzuka and not broken 2:10 yet.
Although tonight I did discover that about 15 horses have escaped from my car.
Must take it to the mechanics.

Yeah me too. First time driving the Altezza and not really used to the FTO. Best I can do with the FTO is 2:09. I may have go back to Scooby since I'm actually used to driving that car. I found I was down quite a few PP as I never bothered to change then oil last race.

Suzuka is a hard track to be consistent on. At least for me. Need to go order some Chinese food. I will need chicken, pork and beef.

Yeah, I also find it really hard to be consistent on this track. Especially in the first sector - if you screw up there and lose your momentum, you've had it :dunce:

I too should propably get some Chinese tonight :dopey:

LOL...had Indian take-away last night...so expect to be on the podium tonight.!!

Guess Suzuka it is tonight.

Race 1 maybe 10 laps
Race 2 maybe 15 laps and pit stop.

Or a weather change second race if its possible?

Thrash out details in Edilons lounge at 8pm.

Everyone make sure online cache is cleared and restart ps3 before joining.

I can do it if needed. Should be online at about 7:30 London time.
 
I'll be hosting tonight's race. Lounge up and running in a few minutes for free practice. I'll reset it later for qualifying.

Great to have you onboard racing.
If no one takes over sundays with a race series, we will run some RM races.

Too busy to organise it myself tho. We could have a test session to shake down car/PP or hp/weight settings for future RM races.
Or maybe a different RM car each week?.

I loved racing in this series - There was some really good racing, some running gags (don't mention chinese food) and some really good laughs.

Many thanks to Dave for organising and many thanks to everyone for making it a great series.
 
Thanks to Dave for organizing this. 👍 Much fun indeed! It was great racing, very respectful driving and a load of laughs.

Marcus and neige showed us how to drive fast, but my vote for the team award goes to RDA and Bren. They took the slowest car in the first practice and made it one of the fastest with tuning and teamwork 👍👍

Thanks everybody who turned up and made some clean fun racing for all.

Congrats to RDA and Bren for taking on the challenge and winning the team event with the car that seemed to struggle in practice.
They deserve to win with consistancy and effort in tuning the FF car.

Prizes for RDA/Bren and sichigo15 for winning the drivers championship.​
